Vontoplay embeds newly released HTML5 games supplied through a licensed distribution partner. We did not make them and we do not claim to own them — the copyright in every title belongs to the developer or studio behind it. If something on this site is published without the rights holder's permission, we want it gone, and this page is the fastest route to that outcome.

Where to send a notice

Copyright notices go to support@vontoplay.com with "DMCA" in the subject line. Email is the fastest channel and the one we monitor for this purpose; a notice sent through any other route may be delayed. Please send the notice before filing a complaint with a hosting provider or search engine — in almost every case we can remove the material sooner than an intermediary can act on it.

What a valid notice must contain

So that we can act on your notice rather than write back asking for basics, include all six of the following, which are the elements required under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

• Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed — a link to the original release, store page, or portfolio entry is ideal.
• Identification of the material on this site you want removed, with the full Vontoplay URL of the page. "Various games on your site" is not actionable; specific URLs are.
• Your contact details: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

What happens next

We aim to acknowledge notices within two business days and to remove or disable access to properly identified material promptly once we have reviewed it — in practice usually the same day we read the notice. Because the games are embedded rather than hosted by us, removal means the title is delisted from Vontoplay and its page taken down; where the material sits with our distribution partner we forward the notice to them as well, since only they can pull it at source. We will let you know what we did, and we notify the supplier so the same title does not quietly reappear in the next batch of new releases.

Counter-notice

If your game was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, write to the same address with a counter-notice containing: your contact details and signature; identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court where you are located. We will forward it to the original complainant, and unless they tell us they have filed a court action we may restore the material in a reasonable time.

Repeat infringers and false claims

Suppliers and titles that generate repeated valid complaints are removed from the catalogue and not re-listed. Note also that knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing carries liability for damages under section 512(f) — please be sure you actually hold or represent the rights before sending a notice, particularly for a game distributed under a licence you may not be aware of.

Other requests to the same address

This inbox is not only for takedowns. Developers who would like a game listed, a description corrected, a broken embed fixed, or a credit added should use it too — as should anyone who has spotted a title on the site that no longer loads. A dead game should be repaired or delisted rather than left in the grid inflating the count, and reports genuinely help.
