Privacy Policy

Vontoplay is a browser-game site with no accounts, no sign-up form, and no newsletter. There is no field anywhere on this site that asks for your name, your email address, or your payment details, which means the overwhelming majority of what a privacy policy usually covers simply does not apply here. This page explains what genuinely happens when you load a page and press play.

Information you give us directly

None, unless you choose to write to us. We do not operate registration, comments, uploads, or profiles. If you email the address at the bottom of this page we obviously receive whatever you put in that message, and we keep it only as long as it takes to deal with the thing you contacted us about.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which games get played and which parts of the site get ignored. It records the sort of thing you would expect from any traffic counter: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, device type, browser, and how long a visit lasted. Google Analytics 4 does not expose raw IP addresses in the reports we see, and we read that data in aggregate — the reports tell us a game was opened three hundred times, not who opened it. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors and we have no mechanism that would let us.

Analytics loads as a third-party script, so Google handles that data as an independent processor under its own terms. You can opt out across every site that uses it by installing Google's official opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking the script with any content blocker. Vontoplay works normally either way — nothing here is gated behind being measured.

Favorites and history stay on your device

When you favourite a game, or when a game you have opened turns up in History, that record is written to your browser's own local storage. It is not transmitted to us, it does not sit in a database of ours, and we could not retrieve your list even if somebody demanded it. This is the deliberate trade-off for having no accounts: your lists are private and they belong to the device that made them, but they do not follow you to another browser, and clearing your browsing data erases them permanently.

The games themselves

Games run inside an embedded frame served by our HTML5 distribution partner rather than from our own servers. When a game loads, your browser connects directly to that partner, which can therefore see your IP address and set its own cookies or storage under its own privacy policy. Some titles carry advertising supplied through the same partner, and those ads may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure and target what they show. We do not control that inventory, we receive no personal information back from it, and we never pass anything about you into it — the frame is a separate context we embed, not a pipe we feed. If ad personalisation concerns you, Google's Ads Settings and your browser's cookie controls are the places where changing it actually has an effect.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not run email marketing, and we do not hand analytics data to anyone beyond the processor that generates it. There is no data-broker relationship here of any kind, and the business model described on our about page does not require one.

Children

A good deal of what we list is family-friendly, and the site is not directed at children under 13 as a matter of policy. We knowingly collect nothing from them, because we collect nothing identifiable from anyone. Parents who would rather their child not encounter third-party advertising inside embedded games should use a content blocker or a supervised browsing profile, since that inventory is served by the partner rather than by us.

Your choices

Clearing site data in your browser removes your favourites, your history, and every cookie this site or its embeds have set. Blocking third-party cookies limits what the game frame can store. Any mainstream content blocker stops analytics outright. Because we hold nothing that identifies you there is no account to delete and no data export to produce — but if you are in a jurisdiction with statutory access or deletion rights and you want that position confirmed in writing, ask and we will confirm it.
