Terms of Service
Last updated
Using Vontoplay means accepting what is on this page. It is short because the site is simple: we publish newly released browser games, you play them, and no money or personal data changes hands in either direction. If you disagree with anything here, the remedy is to stop using the site — there is no account to close.
What the service is
Vontoplay is a curated index of newly released HTML5 games that run in your browser. We do not sell anything, we do not take payment details, and there is nothing to install. Access is free and unmetered, and we reserve the right to add, reorder, or delist titles at any time — a catalogue built around what just arrived necessarily changes underneath you, and that is the point of it.
Who owns the games
None of the games are ours. Each one is the work of an independent developer or studio, and the code, artwork, audio, characters, and trademarks belong to whoever made it. They reach this site through a licensed HTML5 distribution partner and are embedded on that basis — we are a shop window, not the manufacturer. Nothing on Vontoplay grants you any right to download, decompile, rehost, resell, or redistribute a game, and any usage rights beyond playing it in your browser have to come from the rights holder rather than from us. Rights holders wanting a title listed, corrected, or removed should read the DMCA page, which sets out how quickly we act.
The parts that are ours — the Vontoplay name and logo, the site design, the category and tag structure, and the editorial text we write — remain ours. Linking to us is welcome and needs no permission; wholesale copying of our pages is not.
Acceptable use
Play the games, share links, enjoy yourself. Do not attempt to break, overload, or probe the site or the systems behind it; do not scrape the catalogue in bulk or hammer it with automated requests; do not extract game files for rehosting elsewhere; do not frame or mirror the site so that it appears to be yours; and do not use Vontoplay in any way that breaks the law where you are. We may block access that does any of this, and we do not owe an explanation first.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as-is and as-available. Games are hosted and served by a third party, so a title can vanish, break, or change without warning and without our involvement. We do not promise uninterrupted access, and we do not guarantee that any particular game will still be here tomorrow — if a game stops loading it should be repaired or delisted, and telling us about it is the fastest way to make that happen. We may change these terms; the date at the top of this page moves when we do, and continuing to use the site after that is acceptance of the revision.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, Vontoplay is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site or any embedded game is free of errors or harmful components, and we are not responsible for the content, conduct, advertising, or privacy practices of the third-party games and ad inventory described in our privacy policy. Descriptions, ratings, and categories on this site are editorial judgements offered in good faith, not guarantees about a game's content or quality.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site — including lost data, lost progress, or lost time. Since favourites and history live only in your browser, clearing your browsing data will delete them and we have no copy to restore; that is described plainly in the cookie policy and is not a defect. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ads and third-party links
Some games carry advertising supplied through our distribution partner. That is what makes it viable for the games to be free to play, and it is the only commercial relationship on the site. We do not control which ads appear and do not endorse them or any third-party site they lead to; disputes about an advertisement are between you and the advertiser.
